Common heating problems we sort

• Cold spots in radiators — usually trapped air or sludge build-up
• One radiator stays cold — could be a stuck valve, sludge or balancing issue
• Whole upstairs cold but downstairs OK — pump or system flush usually solves it
• Banging pipes — expansion noise from incorrect flow rates or trapped air
• Boiler losing pressure — failed expansion vessel, leak, or incorrect repressurisation
• Leaks at radiator valves — old valves, worn-out olives or PTFE

MagnaCleanse power flush

If your system has built up sludge over the years (typical after 10+ years on the same boiler) the only proper fix is a chemical power flush. We use a MagnaCleanse rig — faster than traditional power flushing and easier on the system.

From £450 for an average house with 7 radiators. £35 per additional radiator. Includes inhibitor on completion.

What to expect from a callout

We diagnose first, then quote. Materials are charged at trade discount with a 20% mark-up. Hourly rates start at £80/hr (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm). Out-of-hours and weekend rates apply for emergencies.
